# Tickr vs Tally Counter

Tickr and Tally Counter both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tickr's written reviews are positive against 81% of Tally Counter's. Tickr also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Tally Counter's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tickr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tally Counter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tickr against 4.9 for Tally Counter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally Counter has 51 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Tickr's written reviews are positive against 81% of Tally Counter's.

Tickr ships an update every 9 days, Tally Counter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
