# Tickr vs Event Counter & Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tickr at every 9 days against Event Counter & Timer's every 3 months. Tickr also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tickr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Event Counter & Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tickr ships an update every 9 days, Event Counter & Timer every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
