# Tickr vs Project

The clearest difference is ads: Tickr at none against Project's shown. Tickr also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Project's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tickr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Project sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tickr ships an update every 9 days, Project every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 4, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
