# S1914 vs Hegemon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hegemon at 73% against S1914's 30%. S1914's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. S1914 sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and Hegemon sells 23 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

S1914 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 73 and 69 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of S1914's written reviews are positive against 73% of Hegemon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

S1914 ships an update every 9 days, Hegemon every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
