# Memo vs Classnote

The clearest difference is ads: Classnote at none against Memo's shown. Memo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Classnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memo ships an update every 3 days, Classnote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
