# bub vs Mana

The clearest difference is rating: Mana at 4.2 against bub's 3.7. bub's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 71%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bub sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Mana sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mana holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of bub's written reviews are positive against 71% of Mana's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bub ships an update every 11 days, Mana weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
