# Positive ◌ vs Quotes Widget

Positive ◌ and Quotes Widget both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Positive ◌'s written reviews are positive against 43% of Quotes Widget's. Positive ◌ also leads on ratings volume (700 vs 19) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive ◌ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and Quotes Widget sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Positive ◌ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Positive ◌ has 700 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Positive ◌'s written reviews are positive against 43% of Quotes Widget's.

Positive ◌ ships an update every 4 days, Quotes Widget fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
