# Positive ◌ vs Motivational Quotes

The clearest difference is monetization model: Positive ◌ at free with in-app purchases against Motivational Quotes's subscription. Positive ◌ also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). Motivational Quotes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive ◌ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and Motivational Quotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Positive ◌ against 4.7 for Motivational Quotes. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 699 and 283 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Positive ◌'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Motivational Quotes's.

Positive ◌ ships an update every 4 days, Motivational Quotes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
