# DIGEN vs Gen AI Video Generator

The clearest difference is rating: Gen AI Video Generator at 4.6 against DIGEN's 3.0. Gen AI Video Generator also leads on ratings volume (989 vs 23). DIGEN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (44% vs 32%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DIGEN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Gen AI Video Generator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gen AI Video Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gen AI Video Generator has 989 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of DIGEN's written reviews are positive against 32% of Gen AI Video Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
