# UMNOW vs HopiParty

The clearest difference is rating: HopiParty at 5.0 against UMNOW's 4.5. HopiParty also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). UMNOW's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UMNOW sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and HopiParty sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HopiParty holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UMNOW has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

UMNOW ships an update every 2 weeks, HopiParty weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
