# Elsewhere. Social messaging. vs Surikata

The clearest difference is monetization model: Elsewhere. Social messaging. at free against Surikata's freemium. Elsewhere. Social messaging. also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 1). Surikata's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Surikata holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elsewhere. Social messaging. has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
