# Censor vs Remove Object

Censor and Remove Object both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Censor's written reviews are positive against 0% of Remove Object's. Censor also leads on ratings volume (69 vs 12) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Remove Object's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Censor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Remove Object sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remove Object holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Censor has 69 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Censor's written reviews are positive against 0% of Remove Object's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Censor ships an update monthly, Remove Object every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
