# Educ vs Dooke

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dooke at none against Educ's 14. Dooke also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). Educ's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Educ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Dooke asks for nothing beyond the download.

Educ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dooke has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Educ ships an update every 13 months, Dooke every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
