# Notebook vs Ringtone Maker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ringtone Maker at none against Notebook's 1. Ringtone Maker also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Notebook's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (14K vs 15). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Ringtone Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 14K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Notebook's written reviews are positive against 50% of Ringtone Maker's.
