# Notebook vs Remindly

The clearest difference is rating: Notebook at 4.7 against Remindly's 3.3. Notebook also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 4). Remindly's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Remindly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 14K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Notebook ships an update weekly, Remindly every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
