# Notebook vs Daily Notes Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Notebook at 4.7 against Daily Notes Planner's 3.0. Notebook also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 9) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). Daily Notes Planner's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daily Notes Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 14K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Notebook's written reviews are positive against 50% of Daily Notes Planner's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
