# Con Edison vs Liox

The clearest difference is rating: Con Edison at 4.8 against Liox's 3.8. Con Edison also leads on ratings volume (126K vs 27). Liox's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 48%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Con Edison holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Con Edison has 126K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Con Edison's written reviews are positive against 62% of Liox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Con Edison ships an update every 6 weeks, Liox monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
