# Emoji Falling Blocks vs EMBER

The clearest difference is update cadence: EMBER at every 2 weeks against Emoji Falling Blocks's every 7 months. Emoji Falling Blocks's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emoji Falling Blocks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and EMBER sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emoji Falling Blocks ships an update every 7 months, EMBER every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
