# OK Cloud vs Nextin

The clearest difference is rating: OK Cloud at 5.0 against Nextin's 3.8. OK Cloud also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Nextin's advantage is ratings volume (936 vs 2) and chart position (#147 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OK Cloud sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Nextin sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OK Cloud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextin has 936 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
