# Cursive Trainer vs Cursive Converter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cursive Converter at 590 against Cursive Trainer's 3. Cursive Converter also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Cursive Trainer's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cursive Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cursive Converter has 590 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cursive Trainer ships an update every 3 months, Cursive Converter monthly. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
