# Runly vs StepScroll Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepScroll Screen Time Control at every 4 days against Runly's fortnightly. Runly's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and StepScroll Screen Time Control sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
