# StarrySky vs Puzzle Master

The clearest difference is update cadence: Puzzle Master at monthly against StarrySky's every 13 months. StarrySky's advantage is ratings volume (221 vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarrySky sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Puzzle Master sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for StarrySky against 4.5 for Puzzle Master. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarrySky has 221 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 99% and 100% positive.

StarrySky ships an update every 13 months, Puzzle Master monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
