# FaxExtension vs Faxer.me

The clearest difference is update cadence: Faxer.me at every 2 weeks against FaxExtension's every 12 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaxExtension sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Faxer.me sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FaxExtension ships an update every 12 months, Faxer.me every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
