# Vikings vs Sand Fleet

The clearest difference is rating: Sand Fleet at 5.0 against Vikings's 4.1. Vikings's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vikings sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Sand Fleet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sand Fleet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vikings has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vikings ships an update every 2 weeks, Sand Fleet every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
