# Thesys vs Triqtraq LE

The clearest difference is rating: Thesys at 4.7 against Triqtraq LE's 3.8. Thesys also leads on ratings volume (85 vs 4). Triqtraq LE's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thesys sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Triqtraq LE asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thesys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thesys has 85 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Thesys's written reviews are positive against 83% of Triqtraq LE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Thesys ships an update every 3 months, Triqtraq LE every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
