# Toki vs Countdown Widget

Toki and Countdown Widget both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Countdown Widget's written reviews are positive against 76% of Toki's. Countdown Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly). Toki's advantage is ratings volume (456 vs 12). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toki sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Countdown Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Toki against 4.8 for Countdown Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Toki has 456 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Toki's written reviews are positive against 100% of Countdown Widget's.

Toki ships an update weekly, Countdown Widget daily. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
