# MB Solitaire vs LightDrop

The clearest difference is ads: MB Solitaire at none against LightDrop's shown. LightDrop's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MB Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LightDrop sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MB Solitaire ships an update every 2 weeks, LightDrop every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
