# Mask App vs App Blocker

The clearest difference is update cadence: App Blocker at every 5 days against Mask App's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mask App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and App Blocker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mask App ships an update every 2 months, App Blocker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
