# Distant Surveillance vs Comic Book Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comic Book Camera at every 3 days against Distant Surveillance's every 2 months. Distant Surveillance's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Distant Surveillance sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Comic Book Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distant Surveillance ships an update every 2 months, Comic Book Camera every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
