# Crunchyroll vs DS1 Guide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DS1 Guide at none against Crunchyroll's 1. Crunchyroll's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crunchyroll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $13.99 per month. DS1 Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.
