# HomeSim vs DramaNow

The clearest difference is price: DramaNow at Free against HomeSim's $19.99. DramaNow also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 7 months). HomeSim's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

DramaNow is free to download; HomeSim costs $19.99 up front. DramaNow sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. HomeSim asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeSim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DramaNow has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of HomeSim's written reviews are positive against 67% of DramaNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomeSim ships an update every 7 months, DramaNow every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
