# 星剪 vs Ameyes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ameyes at every 2 weeks against 星剪's every 5 months. Ameyes also leads on device support. 星剪's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 星剪 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Ameyes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

星剪 ships an update every 5 months, Ameyes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
