# BabySee vs BabySparks

The clearest difference is rating: BabySparks at 4.7 against BabySee's 3.9. BabySparks also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 28) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). BabySee's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BabySparks sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. BabySee asks for nothing beyond the download.

BabySparks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BabySparks has 13K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of BabySee's written reviews are positive against 56% of BabySparks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BabySee ships an update every 2 months, BabySparks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
