# Famy vs Hope Driven

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hope Driven at none against Famy's 11. Hope Driven also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Famy's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Famy sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Hope Driven asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Famy against 5.0 for Hope Driven. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Famy has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Famy ships an update every 3 weeks, Hope Driven every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
