# Famy vs Yo2

The clearest difference is monetization model: Yo2 at free against Famy's free with in-app purchases. Yo2 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 90%). Famy's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Famy sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Yo2 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Famy against 5.0 for Yo2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Famy has 26 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Famy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yo2's.

Famy ships an update every 3 weeks, Yo2 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
