# PetYearly vs Wheeky

The clearest difference is update cadence: PetYearly at every 4 days against Wheeky's every 2 months. PetYearly also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PetYearly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wheeky sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PetYearly ships an update every 4 days, Wheeky every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
