# MLN Mobile vs MyUNI

The clearest difference is rating: MLN Mobile at 5.0 against MyUNI's 3.8. MLN Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). MyUNI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MLN Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyUNI has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of MLN Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyUNI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MLN Mobile ships an update every 3 months, MyUNI every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
