# Gradient Wallpapers vs Smooth

The clearest difference is device support: Gradient Wallpapers at 3 against Smooth's 1. Smooth's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gradient Wallpapers sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Smooth sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
