# QR vs Frequency Box

The clearest difference is update cadence: Frequency Box at every 10 days against QR's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Frequency Box sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR ships an update every 5 weeks, Frequency Box every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
