# NoteImaging vs ChatMemoir

NoteImaging and ChatMemoir both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ChatMemoir's written reviews are positive against 58% of NoteImaging's. ChatMemoir also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). NoteImaging's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteImaging sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and ChatMemoir sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NoteImaging against 5.0 for ChatMemoir. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatMemoir has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of NoteImaging's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChatMemoir's.

NoteImaging ships an update every 3 weeks, ChatMemoir fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
