# Lovory vs SaltyTV

The clearest difference is rating: Lovory at 4.6 against SaltyTV's 4.1. Lovory also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 171). SaltyTV's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lovory sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and SaltyTV sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lovory holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lovory has 3.5K ratings behind it against 171, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lovory's written reviews are positive against 51% of SaltyTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lovory ships an update every 10 days, SaltyTV every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
