# ONYX vs NowFocus

The clearest difference is update cadence: NowFocus at every 5 days against ONYX's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ONYX sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per 7 days and NowFocus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ONYX ships an update every 2 weeks, NowFocus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
