# NotedUp vs Focus Cycle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Cycle at every 3 days against NotedUp's every 2 months. NotedUp's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NotedUp ships an update every 2 months, Focus Cycle every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
