# SyncTasks vs Pillar

The clearest difference is rating: SyncTasks at 4.6 against Pillar's 3.2. SyncTasks also leads on ratings volume (356 vs 31) and review sentiment (69% vs 58%). Pillar's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SyncTasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pillar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SyncTasks holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SyncTasks has 356 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of SyncTasks's written reviews are positive against 58% of Pillar's.

SyncTasks ships an update every 10 days, Pillar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
