# SyncTasks vs 28 Shift

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SyncTasks at 356 against 28 Shift's 11. 28 Shift's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SyncTasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 28 Shift sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SyncTasks against 4.5 for 28 Shift. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SyncTasks has 356 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SyncTasks ships an update every 10 days, 28 Shift every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
