# SyncTasks vs Nimbus8

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nimbus8 at every 2 days against SyncTasks's every 10 days. Nimbus8 also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 68%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). SyncTasks's advantage is ratings volume (357 vs 6) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SyncTasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Nimbus8 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nimbus8 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SyncTasks has 357 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of SyncTasks's written reviews are positive against 89% of Nimbus8's.

SyncTasks ships an update every 10 days, Nimbus8 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
