The clearest difference is ads: AI Avatar Design at none against ComicMint's shown. AI Avatar Design also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Avatar Design sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and ComicMint sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
