# Ziare.com vs DCNews.ro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ziare.com at 36% against DCNews.ro's 0%. Ziare.com also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (199 vs 1). DCNews.ro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DCNews.ro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ziare.com has 199 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Ziare.com's written reviews are positive against 0% of DCNews.ro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ziare.com ships an update monthly, DCNews.ro every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
