# LIFX vs LinkedSparx

The clearest difference is rating: LinkedSparx at 5.0 against LIFX's 3.7. LinkedSparx also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). LIFX's advantage is ratings volume (7.1K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LinkedSparx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LIFX has 7.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LIFX ships an update fortnightly, LinkedSparx every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
