# DramaS vs FireShort

The clearest difference is monetization model: DramaS at free with in-app purchases against FireShort's subscription. DramaS also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (745 vs 144). FireShort's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DramaS sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and FireShort sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DramaS holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DramaS has 745 ratings behind it against 144, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of DramaS's written reviews are positive against 60% of FireShort's.

DramaS ships an update every 2 weeks, FireShort weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
